General usage recommendations
1. Use a reputable browser
2. Keep your browser updated
Your browser's version updates are usually automatic, but it may ask you to update if it's outdated.
Peergrade works best with the most up to date browsers. Updating can bring in new fixes and features and eliminate issues entirely.
How to update:
3. Operating system updates
This includes mobile operating system updates. These include bug fixes and improvements that help access sites like Eduflow.
How to update:
1. Reload the page, aka "Refresh"
Windows and Linux: F5 or Shift + r
Mac: ⌘ + r
2. Reload ignoring cached content, aka "Hard refresh"
This will reload the current page, ignoring cached content
Windows and Linux: Shift + F5 or Ctrl + Shift + r
Mac: ⌘ + Shift + r
3. Try incognito mode
This sometimes achieves the equivalent of flushing cache and disabling extensions.
Copy your existing URL
Open incognito mode
Paste it in incognito and go to the URL
Repeat what you were doing
4. Flush the cache for the site
You will lose any unsaved progress and need to re-login.
5. Disable extensions for ad blockers
6. Close other tabs that are using Peergrade
It may be most efficient to close out other tabs, windows, and other browsers to rule out them interfering with using the app. Sometimes it can be a tab you forgot about but left open!
Afterwards, refresh or hard refresh.
7. Restart your device
Sometimes this undoes whatever could have been the issue. Tasks that were persisted in the background and not fully closed will be cleaned out by this.
8. Try a different computer network
If you are getting stuck in the upload process it may be due to large file on a slower network or something interfering with the connection (Firewalls, filters)
9. Try a different machine
If it's related to the hardware or operating system, this can rule out issues with that may be undiagnosed yet localized to the machine.
If you are using a phone or tablet, try a laptop or computer with a supported browser.
